Seafood Watch

Well, this week has been great at school. My troubled kid seems to be getting better. He does WAY better during PE when he is in the gym, I think something about concrete walls as barriers seems to help him follow directions. He's on task way more, so I get to reward him lots, which seems to really help. He'll take any attention you give him, and I can see that with this new teacher he is trying to get good attention. We might just be able to get a hold of him and help him get to his full potential... but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm loving to be able to try a bunch of new recipes lately! We have friends over about twice a week and get to bless them by cooking some food for them. Heather, my best running buddy, gives me all her old Cooking Light magazines which I am throughly enjoying! This past wednesday, we tried a fish taco recipe that turned out amazing! We had Heather, Anthony and Jons coworker Matt Banton(the guy who was raking leaves in front of a house, the first time we came to Bend) over for dinner on wednesday before our churches prayer meeting. It was awesome! So if you're looking for a good fish taco recipe- just let me know. Try farmed talapia from the US- its a green light vegetarian fish, so we won't contribute too much to depleting our oceans of all the wonderful fish. Check out this cool guide to help make good seafood choices!

You can also go to this website to print a pocket size version. Jon and I got some when we went to Monterey Bay Aquarium 3-4 years back and gave them to some people we love. So here you go!
