And we're off

Well, for those of you who don't know...

We skipped town and we have embarked on our journey northward. Our bags are packed (as well as all of our stuff stowed in storage) and we are ready for the open road. Our "plan" is to be Oregon bound and exlpore/hunt/ramble/figure/understand/find ourselves/find each other/ and trust in our Lord Jesus to lead us to whatever end.

We feel we want to follow our deepest calling and become who we were fashioned to be. Through our eyes, life is too short and too sweet to settle for anything less. After all, "the chief end of man is to is to glorify God and to enjoy him for ever" -Piper. We have been phenominally blessed with each other and with the means to embark on our new journey. We hope and pray that we will find what we desire quickly, for in our hearts we long for a "home." Its going to be mad awesome.

Why Oregon? well we visited some friends in early October in Roseburg and fell in love with it. We're still not totally sure what we will find in Oregon, and it might seem a bit crazy, but we know in our hearts that it is what we need to do right now. We have complete peace about it. You know those decisions you make that might seem odd, but are totally right for you? The decision hasnt come too easily, we've wrestled with the fact that we are leaving a place we know for a place we barely know anything about. But then, if we did know- where would our sense of adventure be. If it doesnt make too much sense, your probably right and you can agree with Treebeard and say "...It doesn't make sense to me... but then again... you're very small... you might be right." There will be a lot we miss, but we are excited about our journey.

Keep us in your prayers and thoughts and know that you all are in ours. Leave us a note or check our bloggggie for updates along the road. Listen to our journey and how we are attempting to live life to the fullest. May the good will of all men go with you now...

"By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign {land,} dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise; for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God... But as it is, they desire a better {country,} that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them. "
-Hebrews 11:9-11,16

Also, I think your destiny is to join me on my sail adventures, just a few more weary day and then, I'll fly away, more like sail. Just wait for a few years, I need to get some money to buy a boat, you supply some food, we'll head off toward mexico, then across the pacific to hawaii, then the south pacific and so on and so forth... good luck broomski!!

Ok, now seriously, I know deep in my heart, that what you are doing is not crazy at all, you just started, life is so good and just one, who am I to think someone is crazy taking chances and adventures?... Hey! I'm the example of how good things can be!!! I hope that you find a place worth of both of you kids, and I'll pray for that. Wish that in the future, we will have a little time to spend together to get to know eachothers better.

God blessed you finding eachother, and he will bless anything you do with love. Good luck and have fun!!
