Happy Day

Happy day of presidents,

Its a good day to celebrate and recognize our nations leaders and consider how lucky we are to live in a time where freedom is allowed to prevail. Even with all the squabbling and negativity surrounding the presidency and George W., you have to appreciate the job he has and what he does! God, please grant him peace, grace, and wisdom.

So happy presidents day to you. me and Jamie sure were able to enjoy it as i had a day off from the survey land. the day was mostly occupied with fun project such as the design and creation of a glorious coffee table for our living room. Hopefully it will turn out well - picture to come when completed. Sunday was great. Oasis (our church) met for the first time in its new venue, Bend High School and blew it up. It was powerful having the whole church body at one service. We are really excited about the next season ahead along side oasis. Me and Jamie are going to go to our friends home group (i.e. bible study) and potentially start a discipleship / intern program where we would become home group leaders ourselves. Stay tunned for more on this subject!! Saturday was solid as well. We started it off by serving (with the home group we are going to) a low income, primarily Hispanic, apartment complex. We played with the kiddos while some of the girls met with another young woman who wants to start a bible study within the apartment complex. The group also was able to give funds to an extremely needy family so they could buy food and groceries. The funds were given to the group from the church as a commission to love and extend hope to the needy. This apartment complex is the group's adopted mission where once a month they visit and find some way to help the people.

Saturday night was bitchen. Trace Bundy ripped his guitar all through the night. he is an amazing musician (and comedian) that has a unique and amazing gift at the guitar (prodigy status). if you enjoy good guitar, then listen to Trace play beautiful melodies with both hands behind one of his four capos.

So in summary, life is sweet. As you can tell, it contiues to rolls on and we desire take the road to life. This journey is one crazy thing after another but if your not careful, it starts to make sense... or maybe we'll go sane in a crazy world. whitch ever it is... we love you, our faithful readers. So read on and tell us what you think or about your lives.
