Been toooo long

As previously stated,
It has been too long from the last entry. So thanks checking this blog thing out once again! So its been good times up here in the O-state.

We have been busy with having fun, working in the sun, and living for the One. Sorry for the bad rhyme.

From our last entry we were hanging with the Fitch Originals, the next weekend the Pole Pedal Paddle came to town. A oregonian race starting at the top of Mt. B, downhill ski to a cross country ski leg to a road bike into Bend, then a "10K" run to a 2.5 mile kayak leg in the Deschutes Riviera, finished up with a 600M sprint. I got to run the "10K" but i don't think it was a true 10k as my mile splits would have been ridicules. It was awesome to run it and be a part of a team of survey dudes from my work. Then I tagged Ryan and he went off paddling

And this memorial day weekend was great- get away to Vancouver WA. We went to the uprising festival to see and hear bands with the likeness of 3rd Day, Arron Schust, Toby Mac, Kutless, etc. It was sweetness. We drove the long way home through the Columbia River George and Hood River (home of Full Sail Brewery and Kiteboarding mecca) which was sooo beautiful.

And in between this shenaingans Jamies tomatoes are ripe off the vine!!! mmmmmmm good eating - so good.

I 've also been trying my hand as an angler. the small small mouth bass is not even one that I caught- my buddy Garry caught it and so far I am skunked. But my name is getting out there and soon fish will tremble and my sight and sound.

Wow! The concert sounds amazing and the tomatos must be fabulous! good job!
I was driving by the Russian River yesterday and I saw two fish sharing a brew. I overheard one fish say to the other, "Dude, our Oregon brother-fish are quakin'in their fish boots beause of that new fisherman Jon!"
You've got them scared now, Jon!
