Hello again faithful blog readers,


What is gonin' on in these parts you ask?
.....Well in summary our experiment in co-housing is coming to completion. Saddly yet progressively, time slips into future and soon we will be under our 'own' roof existing in our 'own' space. So we're movin on and in the words of tom petty " got to get goin' what lies ahead i have no way of knowin'"

We actually we're moving into a duplex across town and starting another chapter of life. In the mean time I've been hunting alittle these days. I hunted a 1000 acre ranch with my buddy Gary down in Klamath Falls for some mule deer but only saw does. Next time we'll get the big one. It was fun to putts around the ranch on the owners 1930s willies jeep and track down the elusive beasts. I've also got some water fouling in. As you can see by the photos the snow showed up yesterdays morning (side note** SNOW?!? its SNOW crazy) and I got to lay in a snowy field for an hour or two and wait for the birds to come our way. As it turns out they didn't take to our decoys and flew straight over us. Gary got one but the other three of us only shot through air into the cold morning haze. The geese were on mission to get warm and feed on some significant forage we think. The alfalfa field we were at wasn't good enough being freshly cut and all. (side note** this same field we nailed 8 of em' about a month or so earlier and smoked and dried some tasty goose jerky- victory photos below).

So enough about hunting... we've been busy and both workin away. Jamie really is doing great at her job. She likes it and is the best at it! She got into her new office in Bend and painted the walls and is ready for action. I got into the LSIT and will take the test down in California next Saturday. Study, Work, Pack, Sleep - thats us for the next week.
