Our adventure continues...
On friday we spent some time traveling out to Camp Sherman, which is a cute little fly fishing shop/general store on the Metolious river. you saw the pics. It was prestine and beautiful, and we enjoyed some peanut butter, apple and cheese sandwich (by the way mom, how did that sandwich go for you?) Anyway, lunch was great. Then we drove around Bend a bit looking for places for rent. Now, we're not sure we're going to live here yet, but we want to see what kind of places are at each city we go to. So we drive up to a house, a young guys raking leaves. We strike up a conversation, thinking it was his place. Nope not his, but he said it was already rented by someone else. so.. no prob for us- just looking. Well the conversation continues and well, he pretty much offers Jon a job. He works for a surveying, engineering company and said they are really looking for work. Since jons got experience in surveying and GIS, he would probably be pretty useful. But again, we havent made any decisions, but its sure nice to know he could find work easily. Big blessing again! oh and i forgot to mention- this guy goes to the church that our friends we met go to. Kinda random!
Our path has led us to experience great joys already. Not only was that last story encouraging, but we also have been so well recieved and welcomed by our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. The photo below is a picture of some awsome friends we met the previous day or two earlier (Anthony and Heather Parla). If we go back it is clear we would have great fellowship and good firends! How crazy is that?
