Bend it is
We are here and we are so excited about the path that is unfolding before us. We know this is where we are susposed to be now. We are so excited to have you all come stay with us as well. So... come and see. Come and see what the Lord has done, is doing, and will do.
FYI** we invite you all to stay with us not just to be nice and because it sounds good but because we want to see you!! The master guest room is ready.
Soo.. The internet is working! yippee! After many hours pondering what to do with a house with only 1 live phone line- in the kitchen, the men have figured it out. So we're online after some time spent under the house for both Jo(h)ns.
So much has happened, yet again, I'm not sure where to start. We had a smooth drive up with the Fischers. The weather was beautiful and the roads were dry. With four separate vehicles we made the trek from San Luis Obispo to Bend Oregon. (for a few pics click on the link to their blog- Fischers) We found our new home with the front lawn dusted with snow. From our little neighborhood the view of the mountains is phenomenal. Mt Bachelor- ranked top ten ski mountains in the nation is 25 minutes (door to door!). We sure enjoyed moving with friends, sure makes it a lot easier with two strong men to do all the strong lifting.
So we spent the first few days driving around seeming like out of towners- with the california plates on and all. So... with a quik trip to the DMV and we're offical Oregonians. We're "20 sexy"... oh ok, not really, but pretty close 020 CXE.
