Hello friends and family,

It sure has been some time since we last blogged, so let me catch up on all the happenings of Bend Town. Some fun in the sun has been had (as well as fun in the snow). I don't quite know know where we left off so... work has been great! It has been chilly but good times of learning and figuring. We had guy from tremble (makers of the instruments and gps rovers) come on Friday and show us some new things.

Anyways... last weekend was great as well. We had some good friends come from Nevada City visit and stay with us. Josh, Jana, and a "newbie cooking" Huntsinger. Jana is almost six months pregnant so it was awesome to see them both. We had a good visit walking around town and other various endeavors. It was encouraging to see them and see them live their lives for things that matter. They will be great parents and we all could learn alot from them! The picture is the four of us on the Wild Deschutes.

Look at this river!! Its frozen!?! Do we live at the north pole or what? the last week the highs have been just below freezing so we got that ice accumulation. Today it reached a balmy 43. But hey, the sun is shinning, our home is warm, theres plenty of espresso in our cupboards to make (thanks mom and dad), we got layers, and it just really is not that bad.

Soo.. that brings me to my next point... it appears i have been tagged.
5 things you didn't know about Jon:

1. Me and my brothers made 39 games on the trampoline and wrote all the rules down somewhere. If anyone finds that sheet of paper.... genius

2. My sixth grade teacher told me i was going to be an actor. Hollywood here I come

3. In ninth grade I took a career placement test thing. For my number 1 career option: Snow Plow operator. I missed my calling, I always wanted to be a cowboy anyways

4. Did you ever think about how many little yellow reflectors there are in the United States? So many. Hundreds, Millions, Thousands along every road and highway; little yellow reflectors every ten feet apart on both sides of the road, and sometimes in the middle to form the double yellow. SO MANY YELLOW REFLECTORS. where do they come from? where do they go? who even makes them? if you had them all in one room, how big would that room need to be? HUGE!! its ridiculous. so think about it. because i think about it alot

5. I support the ban on Dihydrogen Monoxide application on our nations wildlands and forests. How can you live with yourself, knowing this chemical (which has been proven to cause death if inhaled) is freely scattered all over our country. I usually don't buy into hair brain schemes, but this one is for real. So write your congressman and tell president bush he is a "insert your choice of word" and join the fight. the only fight that is worth fighting. look at the facts. If you breath this chemical in its pure form, you will die! so don't die and fight Di-hydrogen Mon-oxide with me!!!

ok - so thats five things about me, I tag now Matt Fitch, Keith Wholert, and Joe (heart of avalon guy) and the last picture is for dramatical impact (I am an actor - see #2)

So my friends, if you are still reading this than i congratulate you and thank you for reading
(Dihydrogen Monoxide is water so decide for yourself or...)

If I recall correctly, your sweet wife was tagged to be a backhoe operator on same career choice test, so you are truly meant for each other!
