Oooooo weee!

So, this morning it was pretty chil outside. But after the guys had left for work- super early, we thought since the sun was shining brightly, it might be a good day to run. So Stacey and I suited up- I run with 2 layers on the bottom, and 3 on top, with gloves and a headband usually. We got Rocky hooked up and ready for a run. But today it wasn't just another cold day of running like we've had for the past week- you know, like in the 30's or so... nope today proved how hardcore we are. We began our trek squeeking along on about 1-2 inches of snow. We had no idea how cold it was until our faces started to hurt- you know when your nose gets so cold and numb that you might think you have snot running down, but you really cant tell. A little ways through the run when we got to downtown, we saw the bank of america weather degree sign... 7 degrees! Yikes, does that mean we're stupid or just hardcore. I'm still not sure. But during our cold morning as we crossed the river we got the best surprise. Four river otters swimming through the ice slabs in the river- its was pretty sweet to see them swimming down the river, right through town, dodging the ice. The river here hasn't frozen like that since we've been here- it was beautiful.

I read this often and love it when other people respond. I'm just not good at responding. (Maybe moms have more trouble with the public thing) But keep writing and when I pop in I will at least say "Hi".

Love you both. Keep having the awesome adventures.
