Yeehaw! We kicked off the new year with a sweet partay at the M&P Fitch house. Its a tradition at the Fitchs to have New Years with 3 other families from their neighborhood and church. So... Jamie got to experience the family tradition for the first time. Some great food, fine wine, sparkling champagne and a few games of twister and guesstures made the night pretty entertaining

Patti and Jamie spent the afternoon making about a million crepes for dinner and they turned out great. Can't wait to experiment with some more recipes. Hey, maybe some day our friend Sarah Fagent and Jamie will go into business together with their culinary master pieces! (probably not until the Fagents move back to the continental united, wink wink!)

So we woke up this first day of the year to a few dishes, and the Rose Parade. Actually, the Tournament of the Rose Parade, because the original Rose Parade is in Santa Rosa. Did anyone else see Dan the Flying Man- I think Jon wants one of those jet packs next year for Christmas.

In summary, we have had a fantastic holiday season with family
and friends. It has been great to spend some valuable time with them and we look forward to our next times together! We do however have a purpose in Bend and are excited to dive into life there! So stay posted and stay tunned as to the miracles and events that will transpire. I am going to start work in approximately 32 hours from now and beging the next segment of this thing called life.2007!! its going to be a good one.
"Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self‑controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed"
